Xuefeng WEI's Homepage
Hi! Welcome to my homepage.
I am a second-year Ph.D. student in the Natural Language Processing Laboratory at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST). I am advised by Prof. Taro Watanabe, Prof. Hidetaka Kamigaito, and Prof. Yusuke Sakai.
I am currently a research intern at OMRON SINIC X, where I work on large language models for rehabilitation.
My research centers on vision-language models and trustworthy artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on multimodal reasoning, bias, and fairness. I study how and why modern models fail, and develop evaluation methods that make their behavior more reliable and evidence-grounded.
My recent work explores abstract visual reasoning, culturally grounded Chinese art understanding, and reliable multimodal systems. More broadly, I am interested in building AI systems that can reason faithfully across diverse real-world settings.
I am actively seeking research internship opportunities related to large language models (LLMs).
